Tarata Boutique Hotel - Lima

I couldn't believe it when I arrived and suddenly had to fork over an extra 10% because of some commission nonsense. Super frustrating!

The location of the hotel was great and unbeatable - just a pleasant stroll away from Huaca Pucllana Ruins. What's more, it was adjacent to Kennedy park as well as Miraflores. Clean and light rooms and a safe, a minibar, and central heating included.

I had a decent stay at this hotel! Its central location in Miraflores was super convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The peaceful fountain in the courtyard was a lovely touch, and I really enjoyed the breakfasts-fresh omelettes and great coffee definitely hit the spot. Plus, the room was clean and the air conditioning worked well, keeping me comfortable after a long day of sightseeing.

The noise levels were quite high; I could hear everything from outside and within the building, making it tough to relax at times. the bathroom was a bit cramped, and I faced some issues with the Wi-Fi during my stay. I felt like the value for the price just didn't quite match up based on these factors.

Really enjoyed our 3 nights here. The location was particularly good and the staff was nice during the whole stay! Had supper enjoying drinks at nearby Museo del Pisco...

The interior design of the boutique was eye-catching, combining chic aesthetics with modern comfort. I adored how clean the Double Room with Two Double Beds was. Plus, the buffet-styled breakfast offered such a fantastic variety that I looked forward to it every morning.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

The spacious room was clean, but a persistent smell detracted from my experience. While the breakfast variety was excellent, be prepared for potential noise from the hallway. I recommend requesting a quieter room if you're sensitive to sound.

The design is appealing with vibrant decor giving a boutique feel. The Junior Suite offers more space and a comfortable sleeping arrangement.

The noise level is unbearable. Sounds spill in from the kitchen activities below, banging furniture, and slamming doors disrupt any chance of rest. The room's layout is cramped with little space for toiletries. Odd smells occasionally waft through, and the lack of sound isolation means you'll likely hear fellow guests' loud conversations well into the night.

The staff was friendly and no language issues arose.
